Did you see some of the news reports last week regarding pharmaceutical company, Mylan, the makers of the EpiPen? In the last few years, there has been a HUGE price hike in the life-saving injectable allergy drug — from $100 in 2008 to $600 today!

Today the company announced that its U.S. subsidiary will put out a generic version of the EpiPen that will have a list price of $300 for a two-pack — that’s half the current price. It will be available in both 0.15 mg and 0.30 mg strengths.
