Did you see some of the news reports last week regarding pharmaceutical company, Mylan, the makers of the EpiPen? In the last few years, there has been a HUGE price hike in the life-saving injectable allergy drug — from $100 in 2008 to $600 today!
Today the company announced that its U.S. subsidiary will put out a generic version of the EpiPen that will have a list price of $300 for a two-pack — that’s half the current price. It will be available in both 0.15 mg and 0.30 mg strengths.
It will cover up to 3 EpiPen 2-Pak cartons per prescription fill. Just present your card at the pharmacy each time you drop off or refill your prescription. This can be used on Epi-Pen Jr 2-paks, too!
*This offer may be used on up to three Epi-Pen 2-Paks per prescription. This offer can be used for a total of six (6) EpiPen 2-Pak® cartons. Patients with questions can call 1-855-859-2971.
This is a secondary payer coordination of benefits plan. This offer is not available to patients that are in Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare or any other federal or state healthcare plan.
