Thanks, Northwest Bible Church MOPS!

I spoke to a fabulous MOPS group this morning!  Just like you’re not supposed to mention which child is your favorite, you’re probably not supposed to talk about your favorite speaking engagements.  But I am!  The MOPS group at Northwest Bible Church in Dallas in phenomenal.  I spoke to this group a couple of years ago and I was just as impressed today, as I was then. If you are a young mom in the North Dallas area, I highly encourage you to get involved in this group.  You will be encouraged and make lasting friendships!

  1. Hi Natalie! we loved having you at MOPS yesterday!! so I’m VERY new to the coupon thing and sales, etc. but definitely need to do it more. question: when you talk about the deep sale cycle every 2-3 months… is it different for each store? and each individual item? so Tide, for instance… it goes on a deep sale at Kroger once every 2-3 months? so in order to figure out when that is, I just buy it and track the price each time? you think someone at the store might tell me? since the main places you shop are Kroger/CVS & Target and I do too… maybe you should just send me a list of everything you’re doing each week! 🙂 kidding…

  3. Elizabeth, I created a new post with the Annual Grocery Sales Cycle. It lists when many items hit their absolute rock-bottom price: https://modmomtv.com/new-to-couponing-3/grocery-sales-cycle/

Most stores have their own sales cycle, too. That’s why it’s important to start your price book: https://modmomtv.com/new-to-couponing-3/creating-your-price-book/

Regarding Tide, they have such a loyal fan base, it rarely goes into deep discount. If you’re willing to try All, Gain or Wisk, you can usually get bottles for $1.99-$2.99 when they reach their lowest price.

Happy Shopping…and you’re welcome to stalk me anytime!
