What I love about Dallas/Ft. Worth is that we have so much to see and do right at our fingertips!
This weekend, we enjoyed a little staycation at the Gaylord Texan, featuring it’s annual SummerFest. The theme this year is the 1865 classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
We discovered lots of “Wonderland” characters and activities throughout the complex.
The 4D Wonderland Adventure was SO cool. (My silly hubby thought so, too.)
And the nightly “Breaking Through the Looking Glass” 3D Visual Light Show was fascinating to watch.
Of course our time at Paradise Springs, the on-sight water park, was everyone’s favorite. With each hotel stay, guests receive (4) admissions.
And after a long day of swimming and activities, we were all ready for a good night’s sleep! Yawn…
Do they have any deals or coupons or did u get it for free or half off because you wrote about it? They are so over priced at $300-$350 a night.
Yeah, I was there as part of a media thing, so I didn’t have to worry about finding a deal….which is nearly impossible. The best suggestion I can give to get a better rate is to plan your stay on an off-peak weekday (like Tuesday or Wednesday). Good luck!
