Why Aren’t You Seeing Coupon Crazy Mommy’s Facebook Posts?

0

Did you know that only about 5% of Coupon Crazy Mommy’s Facebook Fans ever see the posts for all the great deals I find and share throughout each day!

It’s frustrating to me, since I often post HOT deals that are very timely. If you have to wait to hear about these in the Daily Deals Newsletter, by that point, some deals may be over and long gone.

First off, change your new news feed from “top stories” to “most recent.”

Secondly, in order for you to see my Facebook posts more often, you have to “like” the posts. This tells the grey hoodie wearing, Mark Zuckerburg, “Hey, I really want to hear what this chick is telling me. Please put her cool posts in my newsfeed!” By liking the posts, you’re telling Facebook that the posts are “newsworthy” and the more likes it gets, the more people Facebook will allow to see the post.

Now, if you want to make sure you NEVER miss a single post, you can also choose “Get Notifications” (see below) and then, you’ll get a nice little email message or on your smartphone every time I make a post. Yep, that might make you a little coupon crazy, but I’m not judging. I’m right there with ya!

Note: You can only set up this option while on a desktop computer, not a mobile device.

I really love Facebook!  But if you’re like me, you’re tired of seeing ads that you don’t want to see and are bummed you don’t see pages that you do want to see. The items I’ve outlined above are just a couple of things you can do to have more control over what you see on your newsfeed.

If you want to read more on the “how and why” of Facebook newsfeed filtering, read the article here.

And sorry, I still haven’t figured out a way to block people from posting 300 pictures of their kid’s potty training success!
