Texas Tax-Free Weekend, August 7-9! (List of Qualifying Items)

Texas Tax-Free Weekend qualifying items

This coming weekend (Aug. 7-9) is Tax-Free Weekend!!! I have a “Good Morning Texas” segment planned for Friday at 9am, so be sure to set your DVR.

If you plan to shop, I suggest getting out there early. Many stores will be offering “additional __% off” sales, so hit those summer clearance racks, before they get picked over.

BUT…

If you need nothing, stay out of the stores those days because it’s going to be CRAY-CRAY out there!

OR…

If you do need stuff, but want to avoid the crowds, all online retailers should automatically waive sales tax at checkout for exempt items.

Listed below are all qualifying school supplies, clothing, and other random items…hmmm…I guess it’s time to stock up on fishing vests and adult diapers! :D
