My boys are Star Wars junkies! One year, I wanted to come up with a way to share our love for Luke, Darth and all things Yoda, so we delivered these fun Princess Leia Christmas Morning Cinnamon Rolls to our friends and neighbors.
First, I used my bread machine to make the dough (a huge time saver!). Here’s a good recipe for Bread Machine Cinnamon Rolls. During the weeks leading up to Christmas, I would make the rolls, then freeze batches in disposable round baking pans from Dollar Tree (three for $1).
To create the icing bag, I placed about 1/4 cup of icing in the center of a piece of plastic wrap, then tied it up tightly with a ribbon.
We delivered the frozen rolls, with the instructions for baking, attached to our Christmas card, which featured Yoda, the boys, hubby, and me (sporting some fabulous Princess Leia hair buns, by the way). The card read, “Peace on Earth… and in a Galaxy Far, Far, Away.”
Thanks for having a spot to link of old posts.
Sorry. My comment was meant for the link up
