My boys are out of school for the next two weeks, which means I’m going to take a little blog break and spend some quality time with them (instead of being tied to my computer!). But as we wrap up 2016 and make plans to gather with those we love and celebrate Christmas and the New Year, I wanted to take a moment and tell you, my readers, that I truly hope your holidays are filled with joy and laughter.
But I know this time of year can be tough for some. Very, very tough.
Many of you may be dealing with the loss of a family member and this is your first Christmas without them.
Others may have huge financial issues looming.
Or maybe you just have sadness during the holidays because the “magic” of Christmas isn’t what it used to be.
For most of you who follow this website, I’m just the Coupon Crazy Mommy. But that’s a persona I created.
Who I REALLY am is a child of God.
I’m known. I’m cherished. And most of all, I’m loved by our Creator.
If you feel like an orphan. You are not.
If you feel unlovable. You are not.
If you feel alone. You are not.
Whatever your struggle, there is hope. And that hope arrived over 2000 years ago in the form of a baby. Celebrate this Christmas knowing that God loves you and has a plan for your life.
And yes, this is just a “deals website,” so why am I getting all “churchy” on you???
Well, it’s Christmas and….am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.
