I’ve heard that in many parts of the country the much anticipated semi-annual Target 70% off Toy clearance started this morning.
Guess what? I totally forgot! I was even out running errands, drove right past Target and my boys asked me why we didn’t stop (because we ALWAYS stop in at Target)!
Sorry, but my mind and body are elsewhere right now. Tomorrow is opening night for a musical in which I’m performing and today I was only on a mission to Hobby Lobby to pick up some rhinestones for my costume, then get home and rest. My voice is scratchy and my body is weary from all the late-night rehearsals.
All that to say, I missed out on what I’ve heard is one of the best toy clearances they’ve had in a while. I’m so tempted swing by before tonight’s dress rehearsal, but the shoppers might think I’m a freak, all decked out in formal attire, heels and rhinestones, while loading up a shopping cart full of random toys.
I haven’t verified the sale in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and sometimes the sale trickles across the regions. Last year, it didn’t hit D/FW until the first week of August. So check back with your store next Thursday, if you don’t see the drop this week.
***Update*** My friend sent me this pic from the Flower Mound store, so the sale has definitely hit the D/FW market. She got all of this for just $27.24…plus an extra 5% off using her Target card. Can’t beat that!
Here are a few pics from another shopper’s haul…
Melissa & Doug craft sets for $2-$3
Many Leap Frog toys and accessories
Great games for $5-$8
Tons of Sofia dolls and accessories for $2 – $12
My Little Ponies for $3-$6
Lots of puzzles for $2-$4
Several fun baby toys for $4-$8
A few Star Wars toys including a doll that switches from Anakin to Luke Skywalker
