  14. I’ll always remember getting the yellow Sony boombox for Christmas when I was in 6th grade. I was SO excited! I’m sure I’ve received tons of great gifts since then, but that one sticks with me for some reason!

  19. The best gift I ever received…that’s a hard question! The first two that pop in my head are the news that I was pregnant after a loss a few months before (found out Christmas Eve) and a Vitamix that 2 yrs later I still use daily!

  48. On December 7th, 2012, I got the best present ever.

    My Doctor told me that I had, somehow, totally unassisted (after more than 6 years of trying every option we could afford), gotten pregnant. I was 39 years old, with PCOS, and only one fallopian tube which I lost to an ectopic pregnancy. It was a Christmas miracle straight from God. But wait, it got even better…

    After waiting an agonizing 3 weeks until we could do an ultrasound to make sure I wasn’t having another ectopic pregnancy, on Dec 26th, the doctor confirmed that the babies were in the right place. That’s right: BABIES. We were having twins.

    You might ask, “but wasn’t the next Christmas the best one? Because you had your new babies?” But I couldn’t tell you; the first 6 months are such a blur I don’t remember. I was THAT TIRED! LOL

  51. Best gift I ever gave a jacket for my son in law I didnt know he had looked at that jacket in the store but didnt buy it because it was to expensive, I got it on sale 🙂
