The crazy shopping season is upon us and one of my favorite ways to check off items from my Christmas list is through Amazon Lightning Deals. You can usually score huge savings, if your fingers are fast on the keyboard. So how do you get in on those awesome Amazon Lightning Deals?
Here’s a little step-by-step guide to help you out:
1. First, each morning, check the Amazon Lightning Deals Schedule. Be sure to choose “Sort by Category” (on the right just above the product images) to help you navigate through all the deals.
2. Most Lightning Deals are valid for three hours. But popular items rarely last that long and sell out FAST. The key is to be logged into your account and add the item to your cart the instant the deal goes “live.” You can always decide later whether or not you want to get it.
3. If you’re too slow to snatch up the item and it says the item is 100% Claimed or SOLD OUT, be sure to choose to “Join The Wait List.” Lots of times there is more product available. When you see this pop up, you must choose “Continue Shopping.”
4. If the product becomes available, you’ll be alerted by a pop-up box and then you’ll have 15 minutes to make your purchase. But you must be on Amazon’s website in order to receive the alert.
