I had a chance to stop by Albertsons and there are lots of great sales going on this week. My favorite: Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast for just $1.68/lb, with additional $10 purchase!
I bought about 10 lbs. Yes, I really did. I plan to grilled some, make a chicken pot pie and freeze the rest.
I also picked up a 15lb bag of potatoes for just $2.99. I shared a bunch with my neighbor because, although I’d love to consume 15 pounds of starchy, white carbs, my thighs would hate me later!

Fuji Apples are just $.99/lb, sold in 8lb totes. I think I’ll make some Crock Pot Baked Apples. Yum.
Acorn Squash is just $.50/lb.
