Teacher Appreciation Week can be a stressor, but here’s a simple and thoughtful gift any teacher will love.
Caramel Cream Cheese Apple Dip:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Heath Bar® chopped
Directions: Beat the cream cheese with electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add brown sugar and vanilla and beat until well blended. Divide evenly into 4 oz. Ball Crystal Jelly Jars. Top with chopped Heath Bar®. Place lid on top and screw on band. Set a green apple on top. Use an 8″x 8″ piece of Cello Wrap and tie with decorative ribbon.
You can even get all cutesy and add a peel-and-stick label like my overachieving friend, Julie, did with one pictured below. Refrigerate the dip until your ready to send it to school with your child (who will then probably leave it on the bus or drop it on the ground before it makes it into the hands of their favorite teacher thereby annihilating any hope of impressing her with your Martha Stewart-esque attempt at gift giving.
