Homemade Chemical-Free Shower Cleaner!

0

Spring is upon us, and with it comes….SPRING CLEANING!  I’ll be honest, my house is filthy and in desperate need of a thorough scrubbing.

Yet, cleaning the shower is one of my least favorite chores. I’d be truly embarrassed if you saw the soap scum on the walls and shower door that’s accumulated over the last few weeks…ahem…make that months. Here’s a simple, cheap and non-toxic way to remove soap scum and it won’t leave your bathroom smelling like the chlorine-laden pool at the YMCA!

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 cup dawn dish soap (original blue only)
1 cup vinegar
1 squirt bottle

Microwave your vinegar for one or two minutes, then pour it into an empty spray bottle.  Add the dish soap, then shake like crazy to create a gel. Spray on your shower walls and door and let sit for about 5 minutes. Scrub, rinse and stand back in awe of your sparkly clean shower!
